Name Brewery Avg Score ABV Style Tasting Notes Discontinued
Gold (House Beer for JDWetherspoon) 0.0 4.3 Golden/Blonde Ale Appears individually named as a house beer in selected Southern JD Wetherspoon outlets.
Hop Sepia 7.0 4.3 Bitter/Best Bitter Brewery is Sandiway Ales, formerly Blakemere/Northern of Blakemere Craft Centre, Chester Road, Sandiway, Northwich, Cheshire CW8 2EB.
Black Hearted 8.0 4.7 Bitter/Best Bitter Brewery is Fallen Acorn, formerly Oakleaf of Unit 7, Clarence Wharf Industrial Estate, Mumby Road, Gosport PO12 1AJ. Despite the dark colours of this beer, we’re sticking with the oxymoron style being a ‘Black American Pale Ale’. The American element being the Cascade hops, the American Pale element being the fact the malt profile of this beer being extremely similar to its older sister beer, Hole Hearted. The tiny addition of dark malt gives this beer its colour and a nice roasted flavour after the tropical hoppy initial hit.
Harvest 7.0 4.1 Golden/Blonde Ale Brewerey is Hetton Law of Hetton Law Farm, Lowick, Northumberland TD15 2UL.
Muckle Tickle 7.0 4.0 Bitter/Best Bitter Brewery is Muckle Brewing of 3 Bellister Close, Park Village, Haltwhistle, Northumberland NE49 0HA.
Oppenchops 8.0 4.0 Golden/Blonde Ale Brewery is Northern Whisper of Hill End Mill, Hill End Lane, Cloughfold, Lancashire BB4 7RN. MALT Low Colour Marris Otter, Crystal, Caramalt HOPS Magnum, Summit, Simcoe.
Pale Ale 7.0 4.5 Pale Ale/IPA Brewery is McColl's of Unit 4 Randolph Industrial Estate, Evenwood, Durham DL14 9SJ. A session beer. Plenty of sweet malt and mouthfeel, bitter, but with deep spicy and soft fruit hop flavours.
Muckle Buster 7.0 4.5 Bitter/Best Bitter Brewery is Muckle Brewing of 3 Bellister Close, Park Village, Haltwhistle, Northumberland NE49 0HA.
DPA 7.0 4.7 Pale Ale/IPA Brewery is Donkeystone of Units 17/18 Boarshurst Business Park, Boarshurst Lane, Greenfield, Greater Manchester OL3 7ER. The first in our range of truly crafted ales, this higher strength ale uses all American hops and yeast. Chinook is used for the aroma hop to create the wonderful citrus, grapefruit and pine flavours expected from American hops. Once the brewing process is finished we hit it with huge amounts of dry hops to give an exceptional hoppy finish.
Pekin Pale Ale 7.0 4.0 Pale Ale/IPA Brewery is Unity Brew House (now Hop Shed) of The Old Chicken Shed, Suckley, Worcestershire WR6 5EQ.
